Why Study the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)?


This is a UK professional accountancy course administered by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. It’s internationally recognized and after completion one can compete favorably anywhere in the world. To enroll you don’t need to have done any accountancy course before. One only needs to have a minimum of two credits at A-level and five credits at O-level, Mathematics and English inclusive. In other words it can act as a bridge to those who want to change their career from non-accounts related background to accountancy and business related areas. Upon completion one can choose to work in accountancy, tax advisory, audit, investment specialist, business management and other consulting disciplines. For those coming direct from senior six or with diplomas after completion of the course you are eligible to apply for a master’s programme if you want without necessarily having to go back and do a degree first. After completing F1-F9 papers you can opt to do research and you will be awarded with a degree from Oxford University.
